Pizzeria La Capannina Mar 25, 2005
We had been driving around all day we ended up around 8pm in Siena looking for a hotel. We ended up at Ai Tufi Hotel which turned out to be very nice and the staff as well. We asked for the hotels recommendation for a restaurant for that evening.

The receptionist guided us outside of the city where there were hardly any lights. But due to the perfect drawing on a napkin that she had made we found this magnificent place where all the locals were eating. The place was full upon our arrival but due that the receptionist had called in advance and said we were coming, we managed to get in to a perfect diner in real Italian surroundings.

The restaurant was like entering a Fellini movie with huge family tables where the talk was loud but friendly. The big dining room was semi indoor and outdoor and the evening was warm so it was really nice. All decoration was yellow and it made the restaurant feel fresh. The food was fantastic and I would not doubt to go back again. This was truly a great place
