Pizza Roma Paris Reviews
Pizza Roma Apr 29, 2011
Pizza Roma is an Italian restaurant on the Champs Elysees. Despite its location, dinner and wine came to about 25 euros a head, which is about what I’d expect for London. We ate outside on the terrace, but there is plenty of space inside.
The food was excellent. Mum had smoked salmon pizza, and I had Carbonara made the European way, served with a raw egg (the waiter did warn me – they’re obviously used to Brits being British about raw egg – but I’m not worried about that). The portions were generous and the food was delicious, although mine came out quite a long time before mum’s. The wine was great too – wine isn’t cheap in Paris, but you get far more quality for your money than in London.
The service was friendly and efficient.
This is a lovely place to sit and watch the Champs Elysees go by. You probably could get cheaper further off the main road, but this is a lovely people watching spot and when your feet are tired, it’s ok to stay on the beaten trail!
