Pitlochry is a small town with a good sized supermarket and amenities. It also has a Dam which is worth a walk down to.

Peace and tranquility

Our next stop on day 6 was to Bruar Falls, in the Pitlochry area.  Surrounded by a forest of Scottish Pine, it is one of the few areas in Scotland where you can still find these trees.  That in itself was something special, but deep within the forest sits Bruar Falls.  I am personally not sure of the historical significance of the place, but we were the only ones there - it was a great time to sit back and reflect on the trip.

Once I decided to travel to Scotland, I started planning where I wanted to see the sights. I then plotted out my route to fit where I started and stopped. Then it nothing but a great visit to a beautiful country. I now wish to return many more times.

Pitlochry is a nice town in a Victorian style with nice walks to do around. We stopped there for half and hour, which was not enough for a real walk but still enough to enjoy this pretty place with nice victorian architecture. It is said to be a good starting point for tourist attraction.   We saw a lot in one day thanks to this tour. However, it just sounded to me to be a kind of starter showing you very great areas to give you the envy to spend more time there, later! =) I will defi...
