Wherever you looked, you could see the typical architecture, "Cabañas Pasiegas" (Pasiegas´cabins). These houses were used by ancient people who lived in Cantabria. They lived on their livestock, usually cattle, sheep and goats. They had a nomadic way of life. All of them had a few cabins to shelter themself.
