A quiet and relaxed Pisco Bar Mar 26, 2009
I have heard about this place, but didn't go to it until Tone & Christian showed it to me, haha.
It's located in Miraflores area, not even 2 blocks away from the avenue, close but far enough not to be in a noisy street. The atmosphere reminds me to an old bar, wooden and with cozy chairs / sofa. I like the fact that you can listen to some music, but it's not loud, which allows you to talk to your friends. Their specialty are the pisco cocktails. They say they serve over 50 different cocktails, we'll see, haha. They also offer wine, beer and other drinks. Also have appetizers to share. This small and cozy place has a nice vibe. Definitely a good choice if you are looking for a quiet place, where you can enjoy a drink and a nice conversation :) Part of the Meeting travbuddies II :) travel blog |

…TBer. I met up with Yadi (TBer yadilitta) and her 2 friends (one of which is also a new TBer - Keri -TB name kerisina) at a pisco bar. They were seated along a wall with several ajoining tables which made it very difficult to decipher who was part of the group and who was not. Come to find out, some Chilean guys that I was talking to, thinking that… Lima Meet-Up |

I was thinking about the pisco bar, but was closed on Mondays... but... my bar "Tayta" was open, yay!!! Jos and Jasper had a Mojito and as Peruvian Ambassador I had a Pisco, hehehe. The place was empty, just for us, haha. They liked the cozy atmosphere here and also… Nice evening with Jasper & Jos :) |

It was still early to eat, so we went to the Pisco Bar. The problem was that he doesn't like the eggwhite in a drink, so he got one with coffee liquor and was very good. He changed his mind about the pisco, the problem was the cocktail ;) My friend sent me a message and unfortunately… Mark's last stop in Lima was at Tayta! |

Pisco -sour
centered bar to enjoy the local speciality. We stayed there for a few
hours, munching on a few delicacies and drinking loads of Pisco (I went for the strawberry one, which tasted luckily more like a sweet daiquiri instead of a sour… Back to Lima, feeling very sick |

We had to wait for a free table - actually we didn't get any table, just sit next to the bar. While we were waiting we had our first drinks. He liked the pisco sour ;)
Then we moved to the bar and kept on trying the pisco, but with another flavor - we tried the passion fruit, strawberry, aguaymanto (a fruit from the rainforest), granadilla & grape… and he did it! - Shawn arrived to Lima :) |
