Pisa Travel Reviews

Jun 03, 2007
This is a small little town, about an hour by train (about 6 euro 2nd class each way) from Florence. The train station is about a 15 minute walk from the main piazza. The leaning tower is nice but they wanted 15 euro to go up and that wasnt happening. The church is big and very beautiful, and as with all Italian tourist sites there are tons of Senegalese traders selling nice knock-off stuff. If you speak french with them, they will tend to give you a big more of a price break, but I havent really spoken to them in English so try your best. Overall you can see Pisa in about 4 hours so if you have some time(6 hours) and you're in Florence, I would recommend it, if only to see the Leaning tower.
