Pint on Punt

Pint on Punt is a good time, a bit far from the beach and central st kilda, but close to the tram.

Pint is an small older hostel, a bit run down but you are stay above a bar. It can get noisy at night for that fact.

I stayed there several times on several occasions due to the price and friendly staff and other guests.

The bar it self is a great time alot of fun nights.

Free Breakfast in the morning is always a nice touch.

come area and kitchen are small and often gets tight but manageable.

Also u have to take dishes and pots and pans from the bar if u wanna cook and return it whne ur done, kinda annoying, but no reason not ot stay there.

I would recommend stayin there again if im in the area.

I have stayed at this hostel 2 times, about 2 weeks each time. Its not fancy, its a bit worn down, but it has a lot of character and the staff is super friendly. Really nice irish pub downstairs with very cheap dinners and drinks for the back packers. Don't miss karaoke night, there is a deranged asian woman(or man? can't tell) that always comes for the karaoke and sings the same song: "In the midnight hour, she wants more more more...". its hilarious!

Its not one of those party hostels, this one is a bit more laid back and quite, but you will still have a great time!
