Pinky's Diner Feb 05, 2009

Pinky's is the best breakfast & lunch in Tampa! Based on the date, the first reviewer went to Pinky's on a Sunday. I frequent this restaurant two to three times a week; Sunday is their busiest day, by FAR. It's unfortunate for the first reviewer that they went on such a day and, sounds like, caught Pinky's on an off-day, because it is the only place I will eat breakfast in Tampa. Their eggs benedict, of which they have three, are so amazing; the chef makes the best hollandaise in town. They also have incredibly healthy frittatas, which aided & abetted in a recent weight loss program of mine.

Do give Pinky's a try; you'll be addicted, as am I.

Pinky's is Horrible Nov 09, 2008

I have just returned from Pinky's and I am still hungry. The service was probably the worst I have ever experienced in Tampa. Our waitress never once smiled or acted as though we were customers she should actually be nice to. We waited for 40 minutes for our breakfast and when it arrived it was cold. I ordered the french toast and it had no taste whatsoever. It was the worst presentation of a dish i have ever seen, very sloppy. When we left we asked to speak to a manager but he was too busy cooking to come out. We complained about our ticket time and we were told sometimes an order just falls through the cracks. This place has definitely fallen through the cracks.
