Pinguino

DE-licious! Fresh seafood, prepared to perfection. I had a fish fillet with shrimp, octopus and calamari, all covered in a creamy butter sauce. I could not believe how good it was. My friend had grilled shrimp, and loved that too. Chips with spicy salsa seem to be standard pre-entree fare on the island (similar to a basket of bread in the United States, for example), as do sides of fresh vegetables and rice. All of it was excellent.

Pinguino is a quiet restaurant across from Playa Norte, and is affiliated with the Posada del Mar hotel. The prices were reasonable and the service was good. I highly recommend it!
