Pimblett's B & B
Pimblett's B & B Reviews
if you miss England - this is the place to stay - May 27, 2008
We got to Toronto and could not find any available accomodation until we found this very special old Victorian home. Until we usually stayed in hostels so this was of course a little bit more expensive but once a while it is nice to have a comfortable bed and your own bathroom. We booked the "Queen Elizabeth bedroom" and I soon found out why it was called so. I was surprised that I did not dream about her, her pictures were everywhere even in the bathroom.
The gentleman who runs the place had the house full of English things, clocks, teapots, uniforms, pictures and much more ... and the next morning he served us a fantastic breakfast! A very funny and friendly man who knows how to spoil his guests - it was well worth the money!! I really enjoyed my stay there, I don't think I will find another B & B more English than this..... okay there might be others but not in downtown Toronto!
