Pillows & Toast Chinatown Reviews
Clean and comfortable Dec 05, 2010
This brand new hostel, well at least when I came in December 2010 they just opened the hostel for about 1 month. It is situated in Chinatown, just 5 minutes walk from Chinatown MRT Station.
I went there with 2 other girls and we stayed in 10 mix bedroom (bunk bed) in 3rd floor. So when I arrived in the morning and check-in they let us store our bags in their storage room and also use the bathroom to shower because we only had 3 days in Singapore and don't wanna waste our time even just to go upstairs and check the room :p
The room is quite nice with aircon, for $Sing 17/night and $Sing 10 for key deposit that will be refund after you check out, we got a fresh linen and bed sheet when we first arrived...but you have to do cover up your bed by yourself.
The price also include breakfast (usually toast with jam) and free wifi if you bring your own device.
They also have entertainment room on the 4th floor, equipped with sofa, cable TV, DVD player with some DVDs there, a massage chair, and some novels. The have 3 bathrooms in the first floor with separate toilet, and 2 bathrooms in 3rd floor attached with toilet.
Overall, it's very clean hostel, the room although not too big but good enough for sleep. They open 24 hours so you don't have to worry if you just arrive in Singapore in the middle of the night or even at dawn.
