Pili is the capital of Camarines Sur in the Bicol Region--and inside the Capitol is where the seat of government lies. It is also called Kapitolyo to locals in the area, and the nearby Major City is Naga known for its annual celebration of our Lady of Peñafrancia.
Inside the Capitol one will find CWC (Camarines Sur Water Complex) and is considered as the largest cable wake boarding facility in the Asian region. Governor L-Ray Villafuerte conceptualized the idea of having a CWC attraction as an investment to invite tourism growth in the Province. It essentially succeeded and to date, CWC is considered to have put the Province back not only in the Philippine map but globally as well. CWC website: http://www.camsurwatersportscomplex.com/

By hook or by crook, I had to leave today! No more delaying tactics, kids! Seeing how determined I was to get on any bus except for the bus company where I had booked my ticket (because apparently, their buses are all full for tonight. how fortunate! Boo!), Ghi asked his uncle who works at Isarog Lines to find a seat for me. Well, of course...if there's a will, there's a way. So he found one for me! Yay! :) I was smiling again. ;) Thinking of what else I could do on my last day, Ghi took me t...

After we visited the Mayon Volcano, our next
destination is the newest wakeboarding capital in the Philippines, the
CWC where famous wakeboarders from all over the world came here to
experience wakeboarding. This venue is only new yet the place is large
enough to hold large competitions for wakeboarding. We enjoyed the
venue for 3-4 hours then headed back to Cabusao to rest.

It falls on a summer, so it's usually hot, and beach-perfect. It is the second year when my friends and I decided to go south of Luzon, travel 9 hours by land to reach our first destination- Pili, Camarines Sur--- home of the CWCThe great waters of the world and I have not been in very...
