Pikeville is a small town in eastern Kentucky nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. Pikeville has a population of a little over 6,000 and is the county seat for Pike County. Pike County is famous for the Hatfield – McCoy feud, hillbillies and coal mining. Pikeville hosts Hillbilly Days around the 3rd weekend of April every year.

The area around Pikeville is very green and there are some great hiking trails around.
