Pijalnia Czekolady E.Wedel Warsaw Reviews
Chocolate Heaven!!!!!! Feb 14, 2016
It all began in 1851, when Karol Ernest Wedel opened a small shop in Warsaw in which he was selling chocolate and caramel. In 1894, his son, Emil, got the shop as a wedding gift and moved it to a new building at Szpitalna street. The building left untouched by WW2 and is still there, and inside it you can find the oldest shop and café – Pijalnia Czekolady E. Wedel. The history of this place is amazing and the atmosphere is very upscale.
E.Wedel is the oldest Polish brand of chocolate, regarded as the symbol of chocolate and refined taste. Its name represents Emil Wedel's signature, used on each product to distinguish it from others. Poland has more brands of chocolate, but non of them is as famous as Wedel. Wedel can easily compete with Belgian chocolate! Wedel's chocolate is heaven!
Pijalnia Czekolady E. Wedel is both a cafe and a shop. Here you can find the hand-made pralines from the E.Wedel Chocolate Maestro that offer luscious chocolate and the always delicious filling. Each praline combines velvet flavour with highest quality and sophistication.
The choice of chocolates in the cafe is huge. Everyone can delight in the exceptional taste of chocolates, desserts and sweet snacks that E.Wedel Chocolate Cafe offers. I love everything here! EVERYTHING! There is no batter way to start a day than with a cup of hot chocolate and marcipan cake at E.Wedel! E. Wedel is a must if you are visiting Warsaw. Sometimes I think that such a place shouldn't exist as the chocolate served here is just too good! I can't stop trying everything and my butt grows and grows and grows haha!
