Pier House Resort Caribbean Key West

The Pier house is under major construction, however, it wasn't really too intrusive considering the amount of materials you see on the property. The part of the Pier House that sold me was the private beach. It was the 'zen' i was looking for and yes, there are other hotels off duval, but non other offered this. I stayed during the 'off' season, so my room was about a third of the price as it could be.. and i can't imagine paying more than i did. The staff was friendly and very accomodating. I would definetly stay there again (during the off season).

A couple of my friends headed to Key West for a little weekend getaway. The Pier House is located on the end of duval street right on Key West Bight. The location is 1.5 blocks from all the action of Sloppy Joes, Captain Tony's, Mallory Square and Old Town Key West.

The Hotel is very high class and the room cost $500 a night for 2 double beds in a room with hot shower, air con and cable tv on a 32" lcd tv. The grounds were lush and luxurious with a nice pool, jacuzzi, private beach and topless sunning area :>

This location is a perfect spot for Honeymooners or loaded people. The staff was friendly, but the security guard at the front gate working days was very rude and had a power trip.

Also, if you want to rent scooters, do so at the stand in front of the pier house. $54, tax incl. gets you a scooter for the entire day, plus the staff was great!
