Today we went for a drive around Tuscany. Visited Montechiello and Pienza. Both very old Medieval villages. It was a great day. Lunch at home and then we hit the roads. Obviously had to have a Gelati upon arrival in Pienza. Both small villages are well worth a visit. Came home via the outlet shops.…

Pienza is a little town famous because a pope had it built. But for me, in my memory, it is the little village of beautifull peccorino cheese! You can buy whole cheeses here in several kinds and have it sealed! Waaw! Take it (home) and enjoy it with honey and pear! A beautifull tuscan meal!
