Picton Beachcomber Inn, Whalers Restaurant, New Zealand. Reviews

Feb 21, 2008
Picton Beachcomber Inn, is situated perfectly, on the water front, the veiw from Whalers restaurant, on the 3rd floor, can hardly be beaten. Our table overlooked the Picton harbour and looked down the Marlborough Sounds, we were able to watch the ferrys come and go while we enjoyed our meal. And enjoy our meal we did indeed, I had the chef's special my husband went for the Lamb Roast, both were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. We were served by Carol who had a big smile at all times and was very helpful.
There was a bus tour party booked in for the evening, who had a delicios buffet for $35 a head for a three course meal, that we could have joined in with, but we were very happy to dine al carte. The dining room is just the right size, small enough to be cosy and large enough to have an airy open feel.
Sensational veiw from our dining...
