Piccolo Mykonos

David and I had coffee twice at Piccolo. We really liked the people. They were outgoing and friendly. They chatted with us about the island and what we had done while we were there.

They had bakery goods and sandwiches. If you wanted to have them prepare a sandwich they had a variety of meat, cheese and vegetablees. They had salads and side dishes. We also noticed they had quite a few deserts. To drink they had juices and different coffees. We got cups of coffee to go. The second time we went we sat at their outside tables and had mugs of coffee. We asked if we could take pictures of the cafe. She said yes and shyly ducked behind the counter. The photograph is so funny because you can see her head peeping above the salt and pepper shakers on the counter and the ceilings are mirrors so she showed after all. The owner came in and saw me taking pictures and quickly went behind the counter to be in the photos. (his name is Joseph Salachas.)

We loved the little seating area in the little alley. We did find it was a pretty busy intersection with foot traffic and delivery vehicles coming by. We loved sitting and people watching. We really like this friendly clean place and will be returning when we visit the island again.
