Family entertainment & full of fun themepark Feb 26, 2012
A nice night theme park to spend with family and kids will definitely love it. The ultimate experience is of course the Fantasea Elephant Show which showcased an extravaganza of dance, trapeeze, elephants, magic and culture.

In the themepark, you can also find many other activities and attractions such as:

1) Shopping

2) Indoor themepark with all sorts of games

3) Display of white tiger

4) Picture taking with elephants, tigers, dancers etc.

Definitely worth a trip if you're in Phuket.

Awesome Traditional Performance Mar 07, 2011
this is much like other theme parks u might ever visit. but one thing that makes it different is here u could not only see a white zoo (white cockatoo, white monkey and white tiger etc) but they also offer the Fantasea performance (traditional dance, acrobatic, epic and of course... the elephants.

The entry ticket costs USD 50 (sight seeing, the performance and pickup service from hotel are included)

Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park

The theme park is located in Kamala beach. Most tour agents around Phuket, especially in Patong beach sells tickets for FantaSea, and you will see the posters everywhere. The agency arranges the accommodation with FantaSea for pick-up and return at your hotel doorstep. The system is so well organized that you wouldnt have a problem finding your transport back to your hotel.

FantaSea has 3 main attractions :

1. Palace of the Elephants Theater, where 'Fantasy of the Kingdom' - a glitzy theaterical production of Thailand's Myths, Mysteries and Magic is shown.

I was so impressed with the show, very glamourous and entertaining, especially the elephant and farm animals in the show.

The ticket is quite pricey though (1500 bhats).

Before the show, you can take pictures with the performers in their elaborate costumes, for a price of course (400 bhats).

2. Golden Kinnaree Buffet Restaurant,

you can get a ticket to include dinner at this restaurant or just for the show only.

3. Carnival Village shopping street and Similan entertainment center, where you can browse thru while waiting for the show.

There is also a pretty park - 'Songbirds Luminarie' entertained by sounds of the songbirds.

Usually the pick-up is by 7pm and the show is at 8.30pm, so there is plenty of time to walk around and taking pictures in the park.

After the show, they will bring out the elephants for us to take photos with it too.

You cant bring any recording devices into the theater and are asked to deposit it before the show, as the system is so well organized, your items are safely kept and returned.
