You can find some good hiking fun even if you are trapped in downtown Phoenix or in Scottsdale shopping district. Just get on your trail shoes and make your way over to Camelback Mountain in Echo Canyon Park or Squaw Peak in Phoenix Mountain Preserve. Echo Canyon wins for hiking challenge and scenery in my opinion.

Well we have a group meeting up at Crown King Arizona for camping and 4wheeler riding. The trip is not very far but the road to Crown King is quite crazy. Lots of zig zags, pot holes, washed out roads is what you will encounter and if its winter time you will have mud and snow, which if…

It started innocently enough; I visited Juneau, Alaska in June 1993 and explored the State Capitol building. A few months later, It was Montgomery, Alabama's. In the course of time, it became a hobby. Near the end it became a bit of an obsession. Then, in August of 2006, I visited my 50th US State Capitol building in Pierre, SD. (Yeh!)
Yes, I know, I'm a geography nerd....

Yeah so on Saturday I did nothing. Then Sunday came around and I wanted to fix my truck. The mechanics at Earndhart said that the carrier bearings were destroyed and that I would need to replace them (about $700) then I was like heck no! So I bought the carrier bearing set, which …

On the 21st we flew into Pheonix with Air Canada, which has really upped the customer service a notch. After my last bad experience with West Jet, this amazing (movies included) experience with Air Canada might make me go to the dark side. Pheonix Airport is one of the most well organized airports …
