Phoenix X Unit 510 - Best Place We've Ever Stayed!!! Jun 10, 2009
My family rents this condo about 4 times per year. Unit 510 is the perfect place for us and our two children! The condo is beautifully furnished, RIGHT ON THE BEACH, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a full size laundry room, large flat screen TV in living room with hi def DVD player, TVs with dvd players in both bedrooms...it has everything!
The complex has a huge indoor and outdoor pool, exercise room, everything! You can walk right next door to Florabama or cross the road and eat at the Waffle House (a huge hit with our kids. Who doesn't love a pecan waffle on the beach?) We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Unit 510 is highly recommended by my crew! |

Phoenix X Rates a Solid 10! Dec 28, 2008
What a neat condo in such a great location! Our suite of rooms (1015) was right on the water - beach to the front and bay to the back.
Pristine white sugar sands with a beautiful blue ocean view off the balcony. And that was just from the front. In the back we had a lovely view of the bay and caribean colored homes on Ono Island. The amenities were first rate - new and dazzlingly clean. King size bed in the master bedroom and two double beds in the second bedroom. Both had private bathrooms. For the 6 of us, this made it a great value. The Phoenix X has a massive outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool with saunas and a workout room (which I should have used but didn't). The unit had a magnificient new wide screen television for when we powered down late at night just to watch DVDs or VHS videos. Other nights we went to the nearby Florabama nightspot/bar. Great music and inexpensive drinks. This is a very casual place, so you don't need to get dressed up. Can't say enough good stuff about the suite of rooms, the Phoenix X or the Orange Beach area. Although we ate out mostly, we did cook in the kitchen - it was fully furnished and equipped. The local eateries were cheap and fast. Everyone was so friendly! The weather was excellent in November - cool but still good for getting on the beach and into the water. This time of year, the beaches are not crowded and neither are the excellent restaurants in the area. If you play golf, it's the right time for a comfortable game. Can't wait to go back next year! |

We had to take a 2-hour detour and pick up Aaron, aka Nano, in Orange Beach where his family was vacationing.
We decided the logical place to meet up with him would be the outlet mall in Foley! Yippee! I went to Gap (one of my favorite outlets!) a…… Nano and a Short Shopping Trip |
