Comfy stay in Washington Feb 16, 2017
We stayed in Phoenix Park Hotel Washington DC for 3 nights. I think this was by far my favourite hotel room during my US trip.
Location! You can see the Capitol right from where the hotel is.
Walking distance to Union train station and the bus stop
Walking distance to the Capitol
Nicely decorated hotel
I like the bed very comfy
Coffee/ tea making facilities in the room
Microwave in the room (not that we needed one)
There is a fantastic breakfast cafe on the same street - awesome pancakes
Despite the note we see in our room, the hotel is very quiet - i dont hear the street noise at all
There is an Irish bar/ restaurant in the hotel (but we never tried)
No free breakfast
I would definitely come back to this hotel if I return to DC.
Pix will be uploaded shortly.

An incredible location -- one block from Union Station and four blocks from the Capitol. The hotel was surprising quiet given theconstruction activity going on around it. And the Dubliner, the hotel restaurant, is a nice take on an Irish pub with Guinness on tap. I loved this place.
