Caroline achterop bij de nachtportier van ons hotel (Pho Hoi II ressort) en Trudy bij mij achterop de brommer. Het heeft vannacht geregend, dus is het lekker koel. We genieten volop van de Vietnamese bedrijvigheid en het landschap. Onderweg komt er een brommer met 2 meisjes erop naast Caroline rijden en ze beginnen… Naar Marble Mountains en oude binnenstad van Hoi An.

Trudy and I share a Xe Honda, but Caroline does it the luxurious way, she has the night porter from our hotel, the Pho Hoi II Resort, as her personal chauffeur. It has rained this night so it is nice and cool and we enjoy the rural hustle and bustle to the full, with the fantastic scenery as a perfect backdrop. As we are humming along… Dr. Jones??
