Nice Pho, Nice Price May 06, 2008
Finding a Pho Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City is like finding a pub in Dublin, there all over. My favorite is Pho Tan Hiep. The broth is savory, and has just enough spice to need only the slighest altercation. You also get an extra herb that you won't get at most places. The price is right at 16,000 a bowl. You may get it cheaper on a roadside stall in the middle of nowhere, but I'll take mine at 16,000 for guaranteed goodness. This place also stays up until the last customer leaves, and I've eaten here post 1 AM. Its a bit out of the way, so you won't be hiring a man to drive you there. But, if you have your own bike, give this place a stop.
