JUN05 32c/nearly 100% humidity :)Arrive at modern Phnom penh intl airport(compare to our sad little Perth airport...just sad)anyway, while we are travelling from Phnom penh to Siem reap, the scenery, the ancient temple, lush green forest and the special snack(which I forgot to take photo)were eyes open experience. People are so friendly, especially the children they brought us so much laughter. It was a shame that we can't stay longer, looking forward to go back there one day!!!!

I really liked PP. The architecture was nice, the city was clean compared to its regional neighbors, and the people were not fussy at all about Westerners walking around town. The Mekong waterfront...after a bit more development...will be just lovely. But the classic French cafes that are already t…

when i was in high school college and all that didn't seem like type of life i wanted to live and i most certainly didn't want to end up in a typical routine. i wanted to do something where i could really do anything i want. since traveling always inspired me i decided instead of college to go away for a little while. i picked out Australia just because i didn't know too much about it and it seemed like a interesting place to visit, i planned to be away for about four months.

Now, we are at the local "FCC Cafe" befuddled and betwixt about being in a third world country away from all things familiar to us. We all have numerous stamps on our passports but this place is decidedly different from anything any of us has ever encountered. It's hot, it smells bad, the water is …

Phnom Penh. I like this city a lot. Here you see a country trying hard to become a better place to live in, without giving up its identity. Nevertheless, especially when you take a look in the outskirts, you also see there is still a long way to go. What strikes me most is the optimistic, humourist…
