I would say, I am glad we passed through PP before heading to Angkor. The Royale Palace is magnificent. It is designed with taste. This is classy compared to the colorful Grand Palace. Though this is by far, smaller in scale. We were guided by a very nice lady, whose name I forgot already. We were …

Now this is about as heavy a day of sight-seeing as I think I'm ever likely to do.  The evening before I had booked in a day tour that would go to both the Killing Fields and S-21 concentration camp in the morning, then various palaces/museums/etc in the arvo. Suffice to say whatever was seen …

a heartbreakingly eerie place which has experienced so much suffering. We owe it to the victims of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge to never forget the genocide in Cambodia between 1975-79. 1.5 million of Cambodia's 8 million inhabitants lost their lives.

I nervously joined dozens of other travelers at the pier in Phnom Penh early yesterday morning, and crowded on to the overloaded boat that would take us all for the 6-hour journey up the Tonle Sap river. Dozens of people hanging from the railings above, while I sat below clutching my backpack…

Like the first horror film you ever saw, the Toul Sleng Museum of Genocide is an experience you never forget.Having bought my ticket I went to the nearest row in a U shaped block of institutional buildings. The scrappy pamphlet in my hand told me this place was once a school, before the Khmer Rouge…
