US 3327 (E-170) - Landed in Philly, cleared passport control and customs.  Went through security for the third time of the day.  Headed over to the domestic terminal for US Airways and waited for my final flight of the day.  This would mark my first trip on the Embraer E-170 jet.  Not a bad plane even in US Airways all coach configuration.  Give me United's planes with some First Class seats and E+ seating and this would make a very nice plane to fly.  Better tha…

i've finally managed to escape the oh-so-fascinating world of hedge fund finance, and am now decadently indulging my long-suppressed wanderlust with 15 months on the road and around the world... *note: apart from the odd review (generally of something not found in your standard guide book), this is really more just a map of my travels than a proper blog, but if you want more information on anywhere i`ve been or what i`ve been up to, send me a message and i`ll see if i can rustle something up.

4 days in Philadelphia, USA!

The first time I ever visited Philly, I was disgusted at how filthy it is, hence why they call it "Filthydelphia" my friend tells me.  It seems to be more cleaned up now.  I've never had an opportunity to really tour the city, which I would love to do because of all the history there.  We had dinner at a nice place, I forget the name it's been too long,  then had an opportunity to get together and do a haunted house at the old State Penitentiary. 

You're never disappointed but "elevated" unto amazing,exhilarating and exotic places that "our" universe has to offer through the postcard exchange!

Though I hate blogging perhaps more than I hate mass emails, I have lowered myself to this level so that I can actually keep in touch with people while I'm in constant movement.  That said, I will not have blogging be my only form of communication this trip and plan to give much juicier stories via email. My 4 day journey from Philadelphia to Montreal and back.

Today, I would have to get up really early, and check out even before sunrise. Kind of interesting, hearing the sea breeze in an otherwise quiet night.I drove back to the rental agency to return the car, then took the shuttle back to the airport. I gave myself enough time, so no pressure getting there. Once in the airport, I checked in and just went through the usual thing.I hopped on the plane, and went back to Philly. We left Tampa an hour and half late due to "TO MUCH TRAFFIC IN PHILADELPHIA".  So that put us into Philly late and we had to haul butt to make our next connection.

I went to the American Chemical Society national meeting there, and I had a blast outside the conference! Become a nerd, see the world without being in the army!
