This resort has a fantastic location, the pool overlooks the beautiful waters with the two islands, Bamboo and Mosquito on the horizon. Sadly that is the good part. The rooms are OK , the restaurant is very average in food quality and service, the bar service is slow and unwelcoming. But, Phi Phi has fantastic snorkelling, and is a great place to relax, and this is the best location to enjoy it.
The restaurants of Zeavola and Holiday Inn are just a short walk up the bay and there is also the Sea Gypsy village which has a couple of beach restaurants. The main island village at Tonsai Bay is around 25 minutes away by longtail. So for those on a budget, and not looking for fabulous accommodation, this is a viable option.
