Phatty's is the closest thing downtown HCMC has to a sports bar. There are 5 widescreen TV's, all playing different games/sports when available. There is also a large pull-down screen for the "big game". Beers and cocktails are the normal price for the area, jut a bit more expensive than the small bars near Pham Ngu Lao, but cheaper than G02 and those bars. The food is also pretty good, consisting of your basic bar food - sandwiches, starters, ect. On the weekends, it gets pretty crowded and standing room may only be available. But for those from the west, this is a normal thing. There is also music and a fair share of drunk dancers.
