If you're addicted to roller coasters you've to come around! Aug 19, 2007
Phantasialand in Brühl near Cologne is another big and well-known amusement park in Germany.
It´s not very difficult to spent a whole day there thanks to many different, varied and awesome roller coasters, slides and entertainment programmes. The ´Black Mamba´ is one of the most popular attractions and many visitors think it's also the most thrilling roller coaster because a speedy ride including a loop could cause a certain addiction, no doubt! Personally I completely enjoyed the ´Tolocan` that is a quite new and nicely designed attraction in form of a temple. Special effects, dangling feet and waiting upside-down for the next turn are responsible for a lot of action - not recommend for milquetoasts. A great refreshment is the ´River Quest´ with its waterfalls, steep and probably wet rides. Lovely fun on summery days! If you are interested in more passive amusement you can choose between entertaining and varied shows and presentations. My special favourite was the ´On Ice Show`, which presents an incredible great combination of ice skating, acrobatics and dancing. Really fascinating indeed! If you visit Phantasialand family joy and happy times are guaranteed because new and seasonal specials bring heaps of change and amusing excitement! Part of the Mobile Home Holiday 2007 travel blog |
