See Kl from above Feb 02, 2015
If you go to KL you should go to the petronas twin towers. It will give you a fantastic view from above of the whole of the KL and if the weather is good you will be able even to see the genting highlands. the history of the towers is very interesting and for me it is a must in KL.

You can now buy tickets online also so to avoid going there early in the morning to secure tickets. If you go midweek for sure you will find the tickets you want and they have tours starting every 15 minutes.

The Luxurious Petronas Twin Towers. Oct 22, 2014
The Petronas Twin Towers is the most popular landmark in Kuala Lumpur. It is considered the world's largest Twin Towers and is placing 4th as the largest building of the world.

I and my best friend Johnrey enjoyed the breathtaking views at the Menara Tower so we didn't bothered ourselves to try out the Skyway which is located at the towers' 41st and 42nd floors. We had enough breathtaking views already. This is the best alibi I ever mentioned here when in fact we just wanted to spend the money for food than paying for the tickets.

At the base, you can see a modern Opera House, restaurants, coffee shops, and a luxurious shopping center where foreign luxury brands are located.

I love the ambiance there -- different nationalities, orientations... priceless moment!

The Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers (Malay: Menara Petronas, or Menara Berkembar Petronas) are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 until surpassed by Taipei 101, but they remain the tallest twin building in the world. The buildings are the landmark of Kuala Lumpur with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.

The pinnacles were more than just the finishing touches to the height of the towers, each taking over 19 weeks to construct and both being assembled outside the country. One was constructed in Japan and the other in Korea. Each pinnacle is composed of 50 unique parts making up the main components: the spire, mast ball and ring ball. Together these parts weigh 176 tons. While the pinnacles may seem to be an aesthetic feature of the towers to enhance their presence and height, they also play function to aircraft warning lights and are an essential element to the overall Islamic minaret design that the towers embody.

Beautiful Sep 20, 2013
Beautiful. Either in the day or at the night time. The lights at night make the towers and surroundings more beautiful. You can get to the bridge half way between the towers in the morning and see the view from there. Magnificent! Under the twin towers there is a big shopping mall, KLCC. You can find almost everthing there. Shopping from affordable to luxurious. Fast food to nice restaurants, cinemas and much much more!

Take a little walk close to the Twin Towers and you will find Aquaria. Beautiful plce where you can see different kind of fishes and other animals that you can find in Malaysia. Animal lover is a must!
