Perfect for lunch! Oct 15, 2011
After a harrowing morning of sightseeing, I felt I needed to brace myself for the afternoon of shopping that was to follow, so I slipped into Peter's Pub for lunch. I am very glad I did! It was a little crowded, apparently being a popular place for lunch, but I found a seat at the bar and was served immediately.

The soup of the day was chicken and sweetcorn, and it was utterly delicious. I find the Irish to be, in general, quite bad at making salads, but the Chicken Caesar that I had at Peter's Pub was made just right and went surprisingly well with the soup, too. I paid 12 euro for soup, salad and a coke, and went away well stuffed and well contented.
