Pet Friendly Hotels

Check out www.petswelcome.com on the internet. You can customize a search to specific states and cities. Also, if you'll do a Google search on "Pet Friendly Hotels", I came up with tons of options to at least get started. I looked at a few of them and the choices by hotel chain seem to be about the same from site to site.

I didn't see that many in CA except for the smaller discount hotels which is a surprise. In Atlanta, GA almost all the higher end hotels, in addition to budget ones like Red Roof Inn, accept pets of all sizes (some up to 150lbs) for around $100 per stay. Some deposits are refundable, some not. Atlanta hotels included in the pet-friendly category are Intercontinental, W Hotel, Hotel Indigo, Hyatt, Four Seasons and Westin.

As always, I would call the hotel before booking online anywhere to confirm they take pets meeting your specs. ALWAYS GET THE NAME of the person you confirm the info with. Note date and time of the call and bring that information with you when you travel "just in case".
