 Beautiful location, beautiful city, pretty good room Jan 29, 2009
You can't go wrong if you stay here. We flew into the airport and you drive past the industrial part of the area before you get to the beautiful beaches of Copacobana. The only thing between the front of our hotel and the beach was a major road way-you cross it and you are on the beautiful beach!
I don't know if all the rooms were like this, but from our room, we had a view from the front of the hotel to the beach and out of the rear to the apartments in the city! Our room had a living room area seperate form the bedroom, inclusive of a microfridge and nice bathroom. The hotel looked like it was more ready for business men but we felt very comfortable nonetheless. The front desk staff were very helpful (don't take taxis), we signed up for several trips (compared to the American dollar, you can get a lot out of a Brazilian real [Brazilian money]), and even rented bikes one day. |
