Pesci Fritti Rome Reviews
Fresh fish in the heart of Rome Sep 04, 2010
Was a nice surprise to discover this new restaurant in the center of Roma. Pesci Fritti opened last year in September very close to Campo de' Fiori, one of the most famous and visited, at any hour, squares in the heart of the city.
The pretty entrance is located in a small and quiet street and capture your eyes with its soft external lights and the mediterranean style door.
The interior is pretty small, jus nine tables, but very cozy and well decorated. White walls and light blue fornitures give you the sensation to be in some southern village on the sea. Really really nice!
The owner, Claudio, and his crew are very kind, friendly and professionals. We trusted in their that we didn't want to choos from the, rich, menu! We asked to give us the best they had, as old friends!
We were not disappointed!!!! Entrance with "tuna carpaccio" served with lime cream and fried italian fish (anchovies and squid). For main course we had "pezzogna all'amalfitana", mediterranean fish cooked with fresh tomatoe, olives and capers and "Tuna parmigiana". All this drinking a great "Ribolla gialla", a delicous white wine from Friuli.
For dessert just an ice cream of peach and a grappa form Lazio! Nothing more.....
Pesci fritti has passed with honors!!!!
The price? Absolutely honest!!!! Below 40 euro for person!!!!
If you will pass in this area you must try Pesci Fritti!
