Once in Pescara we rent a car for 4 days. Next day moved west to the Campo Imeperatore area. Being honest, it's one of the most idyllic areas I've ever been. Later this day, we drove further to Rome. We visited the usaul places like, the Pantheon, the Coliseum, the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, the Quirinal Palace (residence of the president), Castel Sant Angelo and the Spanish Steps. In the late afternoon we drove back to the Pescara region, to one of the surrounding coast villages.

After stopping at a couple of beaches to have a quick dip to cool down, we turned inland somewhere around Pescara, and started heading towards rome. Not sure where about or how long it took us, but eventually stopped on the side of the road to cook dinner and sleep!
