Peru in general is maybe good for people who want to go there. Peru is a very safe country, unlike what some people might suggest, and is an exceptional journey where you come across with a beautiful country, extraordinary people and gorgious nature. For all those who smoke, you can get very cheap cigarets there. For all those who drink, that is also very cheap. You will have to be aware for pocketpeople, so keep a little big with everything you need right under your clothings. If you want to be confronted with beauty and with something totally different, you should really go to Peru. I didn't wanted to go at first, I really wanted to go to another country, but I would have regretted it myself my whole life I wouldn't have done this trip. Just go and enjoy it's beauty.

It is only day 6 of my trip and we already had a robbery attempt that resulted in a high speed foot chase through the winding streets of Arequipa. Okay. Maybe not that dramatic. But it did get the old adrenaline pumping.   Chris and I were h…… On the Gringo Trail
