2 summers ago (in 2005) I went to Peru, and had an amazing time. I went with a group of about 7 other people (all over the age of 45) from my church! It wasn't exactly the way I had expected to travel the world, but when I saw the announcement about going to Peru, I knew right away that I wanted to…

Bus journey from La Paz in Bolivia to Cusco, Peru. Photos at the main Square, Plaza de Armas in Cusco and some amazing restaraunts weve been to. Probably the only normal food weve eaten since arriving in South America, Jacks Cafe and The Real McCoy. mmm! Lots of llamas in Cusco on the main roads, scary hissing animos but great for an oul photo.

Puerto Maldonado, Peru -› Cusco, Peru -› …
In August 2007, I had the great opportunity to travel to Peru for about a week a half. Myself and two started off in the Puerto Maldonado region and ventured into the rain forests of Peru and Bolivia along the Rio Heath. We got to see quite a variety of animals, including monkeys, crocodiles and scarlet macaws. Next we moved on to Cusco and Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu was absolutely stunning - I couldn't believe how the incas were able to build such a remarkable city so many years ago.
