Loved this place!! The accommodations are private casitas and fully furnished, including cooking and eating utensils. The space between the casitas is far enough to give it a very calm and quiet atmosphere. The landscape/gardens are tranquil and peaceful. It is highly rated (#1) on TripAdvisor. Chec...

Iquitos is the place to book various jungle lodges, which will allow you to stay in the Amazon and see the jungle close up. There are various lodges to choose from. The more luxury choices are the Explorama lodges, which have the canopy tour and I think one of them even has a water slide. We went wi...

In you´re in Arequipa you have to stay at Casablanca. Clean, safe, great rooms, great staff, and it´s just steps form the Plaza. Because of the thick stillar(the white stone everyting is made of here) the rooms are quiet.

I arrived in Cuzco by airplane it was a fast flight, just 1.15 hours from Lima, but since Cuzco is 3,300 m (10,800 ft), I wasn't sure how I was going to feel.
As soon as I got out of the airplane I could feel the fresh cold air, the smell of the mountains, the amazing view and the good energy...Ye...

This was the most amazing hostel I have ever stayed at. Honestly, it was like visiting old friends. The owner, Alfredo, and his wife were both extremely friendly and welcoming. They were ready to help book any tours you would like of Lake Titicaca and also they helped arrange transportation from ...

My backpacking buddy and I loved this lodge!!! Note - we are not your typical American girls. We love to backpack (both traveling and to go camping), we go easily go without make-up, and we are both very active girls who enjoy the outdoors. So that being said, Mayuna Lodge was perfect for us! We ...

Beautiful hotel located at the base of Machu Picchu. Beautifully landscaped. Meant to be a "get back to nature" type of hotel. The food at the hotel is incredible. A great place to spend the night after a tiring day at Machu Picchu. Spending the night at the Inkaterra was a much better option t...

This hotel is an amazing hotel, and the only thing I have against it is the orange juice it served. (Much of the orange juice here in Peru seems to have a sour taste to it). My first night in this hotel I had a room facing San Augustin street. I thought it would have been impossible to fall asleep t...

A great hotel! The rooms were big enough, quiet enough and comfortable enough to convince me to stay there if I ever was in Lima again. Service was excellent, and often staff can be seen lounging around because there are so many of them simply waiting to take care of guests.
The food served in th...

Amazingly great hotel. You enter the hotel and you get this amazing sence of quietness over you. The hallway is open so you can look outside. The bar is very cowsy (don't know if this is written right) and you don't hear any noise you have from the streets. I was really impressed by this hotel. The ...

Talk about location - overlooking the Pacific, walk to the park, walk to shopping, walk to great restaurants all in the Miraflores district. And the views from the giant floor to ceiling windows mean that you don't have to walk anywhere to enjoy an exceptional meal with a sunset ocean view. Yes, I'm...

Hotel Niños won the prize for "best two star hotel in Cusco" twice. There are two locations. They have lovely patios, are safe, with friendly staff, and have great breakfast and the best hot showers in Peru. All profits go directly to their own long term projects for undernourished kids.
