Perth-Scotland and Perth- Western Australia

One of the biggest events in Perth! Situated in the skies above the Swan River this free two day event is almost a must see! Fantastic views from either the city side of the river or from South Perth. Day 1 is qualifying and tends to be a little quieter, day 2 is elimination day with far more excitment. Other entertainments include all manor of fly overs, aerial stunts and extreme kiting displays!

The city of Perth is situated on the backs of the Swan River and is sait to be closer to Singapore then what it is to Sydney. I have lived here since Feb and have found it a likable, easygoing city.  The people are friendly, the weather is great and its quite an easy city to get around. …

Australia IV - This will be an adventurous trip for us. Our plan is to travel from Darwin to Broome and some days around Perth. Depending the weather we'll travel through Kakadu>Litchfield>Katherine & Kimberley >via Northern HWY or Gibb River Rd :-)

While being deployed around the Pacific, I was able to visit a whole new world for me.

I only had 9 days to visit my friend in Perth but wow it was an amazing place. It might be the most isolated big city but it is well worth the trip. Lots to see and do and lovely people and beautiful as well !

And this is where we finish our wonderful and short holiday adventure back home.  Everyone was brave when saying goodbye and this time there was only a few tears shed.  I think there were a few more after we walked through the departure gates considering that we were sad to be leaving.&nb…

Perth is probably our favourite city in Australia. It's nice and relaxed and not as warm/humid as it has been. Did the sights of Perth in about a day, it's small and easy to walk around. This trip essentially began with a week in beautiful Sydney, Australia. I wasn't sure of my itinerary, but I did pick up a Vietnamese Visa in Sydney, so after a few days visiting friends in Perth, I headed that way from down under. After Vietnam, I revisited Bangkok and Frankfurt to complete my Round the world adventure!
