Had a nice day planned on a boat today but got let down at the last minute much to my disappointment. Caught the train back to town and cheered myself up with some expensive UK Hula Hoops, Revels and real Cadbury's Giant Buttons. From Birmingham, not NZ.:) Looked at changing currency for Asia but my cheque STILL hasn't cleared dagnamit. I met Neil for a quick milkshake at lunchtime in West Perth, and then spent the afternoon in the internet cafe before meeting him at Annalakshmi, a vegetarian...

A day in Freemantle by the sea and then out for dinner at their famous fish and chip restaurant.
Cicerello’s is much more than your average Fish’n’Chip shop. With more than 22 metres of aquariums containing over 20, 000 litres of water. You can sit inside the restaurant or why not make the most of the views of the harbour and sit outside....but be warned the seagulls are leathal but DO NOT FEED THEM!!!

I had a day off from from work today and my dad and I decided to drive to Jandakot airport and take a helicopter flight over Perth to kill some time. Jandakot airport is where i take my flying lessons from and i train in a Cessna 152, my flying lessons have been put on hold however until i achieve my 5 big trips as each lesson costs me $220 AUD for an hour and at the moment traveling is more important to me than getting my licence. The company we went flying with is called Jandakot Helicopter...

Today I'm going to make my way into Perth to visit with Michelle (the English nurse I met on the East Coast). She's just moved to Perth for work and doesn't know anyone yet. I'm not sure what we'll do but I'd like to check out Scarborough beach and maybe Subiaco. Yesterday Louise was off so we just hung out, had a nice breakfast at a cafe outside, I browsed in some of the shops (but didn't buy anything) and we cooked up a massive Mexican feast for about 15 people. Ever...

As any person who has decided to take the plunge and travel the journey starts at the airport, in my case it was Perth International Airport. So after saying good bye I was off on my travels.
