King's Park in the center of Perth is the ideal place to go to on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Just beautiful views on the city and the river, and magnificent botanical gardens... Also a place to remember the sacrifices made by all those to whom we owe so much!

This was my first time taking night shots using a tripod. I don't think I did too badly but being the perfectionist I am I know I can do better.

On Wednesday we went to Kings Park in Perth. It was a really beautiful park and there were lots of joggers and families having picnics there enjoying the warm weather. Not much to report for the last few days in Melbourne. Basically, we just went shopping and lounged around a lot. So yeah, not much went on. Wow what a day, was up early this morning which was quite difficult as the girl I was sharing a room with last night was still asleep and she had gone to bed early the night before aswell so i hadn't been able to pack my bags. the surgeon comes in to tell me that the op went well (he told me immediately after op too, but i guess i was too out of it!) and they hadnt had to break my elbow bone! apparently because it was a nasty break the op was pretty complicated. i dont do things by halves eh?! i also get the drain taken out, which was bloody painful, as well as the drip in my other arm! damn, no more intravenous drugs! funnily enough, the sticky tape holding the drip in place was pretty painful too when the nurse …
