Peranakan Museum hosts history and life of Peranakan group of people that were actually Chinese traders that immigrated to Malaysia married with locals and started the new life there. Museum is in the old school building on couple of floors and it is definitely worth seeing. Rooms take you through the life of the Peranakans, showing their tradition in wedding ceremonies, way they cared about their dead, practice at the table and kitchen, and many other day to day things. Please stop by interactive screens and listen to the short stories, they are very interesting. There is also a playground for kids and lots of dry stamps to press on your postcards or whatever you like.
