Great Sub Shop, Lots Of Character, Unique Sandwiches Nov 07, 2011
If visiting the burgh, you must try this restaurant. This is one of my favorite places to hit on the weekends.

It "is" a greasy spoon kinda place, but that is what makes it great! Each location is setup differently. The Western Avenue location has the most character and comes with an outdoor patio for summertime eating.

They have a lot of uniquely created sandwiches like "The Cathedral" named after the Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh. Each sandwich is unique and maybe similar to something you have had before, or never had. Most sandwiches are grilled but not all of them.

They also have great salads and if you go, you must get the Cajun Fries. They give you a side of Ranch dressing to dip them in and as we are Ranch dressing junkies here in the burgh, this is a common side for dipping.
