The award-winning lodge is located in one of the world’s most magnificent and untouched remote tropical wildernesses – the Northern Territory’s Garig Gunak Barlu National Park. This sanctuary – Northern Australia’s first flora and fauna protection reserve – is surrounded by a Marine Park and the Arafura Sea to the North. The design of the lodge is relaxing yet thoroughly elegant and allows the sights, sounds and sea breezes of the tropics to be enjoyed day and night. To stay on the Cobourg Peninsula is an exclusive privilege – entry is by permit only and visitor numbers are extremely limited. Peppers Seven Spirit Bay is located 185 kilometres north-east of Darwin. The lodge is situated on the northern coastline of the Cobourg Peninsula in an almost completely unpopulated tropical wilderness area. Despite its remote and secluded location, Peppers Seven Spirit Bay is only a scenic 45 minute flight by light aircraft from Darwin to Midjari airstrip, located 15 kilometres from the lodge. The scenic trip to the Lodge introduces guests to the flora and fauna of the Cobourg wilderness. This journey is an integral part of the adventure experience, giving guests an appreciation of the remoteness of the location and its almost complete detachment from the modern world. Guests stay in 23 freestanding ‘habitats’, while a central complex houses reception, lounge bar, restaurant, library, conference room, all overlooking the magnificent lagoon, swimming pool and Coral Bay. Environmentally conscious comfort, excellent service and wonderful cuisine in the most extraordinary setting – a rare kind of wilderness and an incomparable retreat from the ordinary world. Guest accommodation is in large, hexagonal habitats, each secluded in the bush and featuring two queen size beds for relaxed comfort, a mini-bar/fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. With five sides featuring floor to ceiling louvred shades with screens and ceiling fans to let in the breeze, the habitats allow the impression of total immersion in the tropical surroundings. A unique private garden bathroom is adjacent to the habitat and allows guests to pretend they’re in Eden, with showers surrounded by seductive gardens and open to the colours of the Top End sky. Natural harmony, sea breezes and sights and sounds of the tropics – day and night – has been achieved through a design that is tropical, relaxing and completely elegant.

Super rental company! When we got there to pick up our Bushcamper, they told us that something is wrong with it. They will have to bring it to the garage on Monday (next day) to get a diagnose of the problem. Great! They gave us anoth…… get the camper and off we go ....
