Peppermill Grand Buffet
Peppermill Grand Buffet Reviews
Best Casino Buffet in town Jun 24, 2008
Peppermill Grand Buffet at Peppermill Casino has a wide variety of foods at their buffet includin soups, salad bar, Chinese food, Mexican food, prime rib and ham, Italian, American and desserts.
Their Ceasar Salad is really good if you like Ceasar salads. The Chinese area has about 6 different dishes, with a couple different ones daily. There is prime rib and ham, mashed potatoes (delicious!), red potatoes, carrots and corn. Generally some type of fish, like trout, lightly breaded. A few dishes that rotate daily - like kielbasa, macaroni, mushroom sauce, crab cakes, etc. One end of the buffet has shrimp cocktail. The other side of the buffet has lasagna, fetticini, tortellini or ravioli. Also a large selection of Mexican foods - Chile rellenos, tacos, carne asada, refried beans, rice, burritos and other things that I don't know what they are. Surprisingly, the desset area is a little lacking. They have some cheesecakes and bars, some cookies and ice cream. But nothing that makes me drool and that I must have. The buffet has a nice selection of food and it all tastes delicious. There are a few different casino buffets in town but this one was our favorite. The price varies by meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner). It is busier at lunchtime with all the employees eating, but still very little waiting time to get in (maybe 5 minutes). I almost forgot the decor! It is a little tacky - pink and blue fluorescent lights everywhere, fake plants and fake tiffany lamps - but I love it! The buffet is way in the back of the casino (of course) - it is a little bit of sensory overload just walking back there with all the bright neon lights and slot machines dinging but the food is worth it!
