Up and Coming Bar Aug 20, 2008

This bar, which consists of 2 buses that were welded together, was certainly one of my more memorable experiences in Beijing. I took me quite a few tries to find, but was well worth the time. Cheap shots (5-10Y) and a very unique atmosphere help turn this bar into a fun and interesting experience. Finding the bar is an adventure in itself - it's well hidden and the outside is painted in camouflage. Also, I soon realized that none of the people I was asking knew where (or what) this place was either. This could have had something to do with the fact that they had to move to another location due to the Olympics. If you decide to try and find this place, I wish you the best of luck!
