Nice hotel in the heart of Florence Aug 19, 2007
Location is everything and that's why this hotel is perfect when you visit Florence for a citytrip. The hotel is located between the Doumo and the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizzi museum. It can't be more perfect! Some of the rooms have a view on the famous Piazza della Republicca. I didn't know that when we booked the hotel but now you know so ask for a room like that! The bathroom and bed were ok, just like the 24 hours guarded reception. There's a computer with internet in the lobby that you can use for free. We didn't use the breakfast in the hotel so i can't tell you if that was ok. If you visit the hotel by car, like we did, the hotel can park your car in a private garage which costs about 20 euros a day. Maybe that's not that cheap but you know that your car is safe. The hotel was one of the cheapest in the center of Florence. We paid about 100 euros a night. It was a good deal for us and we would certainly go back there again. I can definately recommend this hotel!

July 13, our first day in Florence. Our breakfast in the room was really generous, probably due to the fact that our hostess was an ex-pat American. We were able to use a lot of the breakfast goodies to supplement our lunches while there…… Today we tour Florence. |
