Pension Matina Hotel Mykonos

If you want to stay somewhere where the owner is rude, this is your place. It's a nice white hotel located high on a hill, so if you want to be near town, be prepared to walk a good 15 minutes up and down a steep hill or curvy roads.

I was convinced by someone that there were no bed bugs in my bed or remnants of them, but I'm sure my bed was not clean. The room was spacious and we had a balcony with a view of the sunset, but there was nothing else really around us. We had a nice little fridge in our room, but there was no microwave on the premises to heat up chilly food.

This place charged too much for a continental breakfast and we found an extra key to our room just lying around! Hello-can someone say security! Her son was nice and we got a lot of great info from him, but Matina is rude and just sits at the desk collecting her money and chain smoking!

If you do a search online about this place, it will be hard to find a good review on it.

The best thing about this hotel is the view, the pool and the cabanas surrounding it as well as the room balconies...
