Jan 20, 2009 When we turned up we were the only people there so the owner upgraded us to a room with a balcony. It was a family run business and they were superb especially the owner himself. He drove us to the shops to get some food and also to the train station when we left. He also took our shoes because they were wet and placed them in front of the log fire to dry out. The location is superb. It is in the woods and away from everything but the main town was still only a short walk/ drive away. The breakfast was also very nice and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Part of the Europe 2009 travel blog
