Tonight we leave after the fireworks.  The beach was packed.  We sat on the boardwalk and watched the fireworks.  It was great watching them over the water.  Lots of bright lights and music made this a fun place to be.

I decided to take a cross country road trip to gatlinburg tenn. on the way I stopped at friends places and expanded my road trip after the original cabin trip in gatlinburg, I head east to North Carolina to the outer banks, up north to MD to N.Y. withsights in between. after I left New York, I went thru PA to Ohio and spent a week there and had Tday with some friends. I headed south thru WV,VA, IN, MO, ARK, and MS back thru L for a few weeks b4 heading back to calif

Relocated to the Elks Lodge in Warrington/Pensacola Florida and enjoyed some good dining at this Lodge. Very active with a large membership. Due to some technical "troubles" on our road trip some of our destinations were left behind... I mean to another travel project!!!

We are back home and ready to go back to the beach here and relax.  All in all the trip was nice.  We got a good deal on the trip however the other stuff (food, gas, entertainment) was quite expensive.  We probably spent another $1000.00 per couple on this stuff.  So it did not …

Just as a side note: we didn't stop in Pensacola, but as we drove through, we drove past the civic center and the circus was in town! The most exciting part was that we saw the real-live elephants and they were practicing! It amazed us....
